Mohammed is a father of five in camp 26 in North East Sudan. Like many of his neighbours his daily struggle is to try and secure something to eat for his family. Unfortunately for Muhammed his search is compromised by his health as he suffers from Parkinsons disease. He has an uncontrollable tremor in his hands which makes it very difficult for him to do anything never mind care for his family. When we asked his family about his condition they said they were waiting for medicine as his case was not common and medicine was being sourced. We returned one year later to find them still waiting.
We had met him and his young family once before, and as such we were eager to return to him with the funding secured for food for his family. His wife and children were especially happy to know that their daily struggle, for food at least, had come to an end, thanks to the kind donors of Charity Right.
