Maqsood was the sole breadwinner for his family. All of his earnings went to feed and clothe his five children. Maqsood suffered a stroke which left him partially paralysed and unable to work.
Maqsood and his family relied entirely on the generosity of those in his community, often people living in the same conditions in the Mavani Slums.
Up until 2014, Charity Right supported Maqsood and his family with basic needs such as regular food.
